Curing Sweaty Armpits - How to Turn Off the Faucet Under Your Arms

103 11
If you have sweaty armpits, then you probably are looking for a way to turn off the faucet under your arms.
Read this article to read more about how to go about doing just that.
It is obviously a very annoying and embarrassing condition, and medical practitioners refer to it as axillary hyperhidrosis.
Millions of people all over the world suffer from it.
The most common thing people do is to make use of antiperspirants.
Antiperspirants are different from deodorants, because they not only help to prevent body odor, but also reduce the sweating.
There is a downside to antiperspirants though, and it is not a negligible one: they might come with serious health risks.
Some studies for example indicate that women who regularly use antiperspirants have an increased risk of breast cancer.
It is not exactly sure what the cause of this link is, but one explanation might be that our body uses sweating not just to regulate its temperature, but also to get rid of toxins in the body.
If we clog up the sweat ducts, then these toxins can not be flushed out with our sweat and thus accumulate in the body, leading to disease.
Another problem with antiperspirants is that they are often not strong enough for people with severe axillary hyperhidrosis.
Botox injections are becoming more and more popular for curing sweaty armpits.
The biggest disadvantage with Botox injections is that they are quite costly.
And they have to be repeated every 6-18 months, because their effectiveness gets reduced over time.
