I would like to talk about Homosexuality.
Although same-sex partnerships are currently getting a lot of attention in the news, homosexuality has been around as long as humans have.
It's not a by-product of modern society's ills, as many conservative churches or religious leaders would have us believe.
Homosexuality is well documented in ancient civilizations, and many famous people throughout time have been same-sex oriented and have made great contributions to humankind.
I think that we have to let people love whom they choose to love.
Much like the Jews in World War II, they've come to Earth to wake up the world to the horrors of bigotry.
Society's outcry against gays and their right to marry (fueled as always, by religion) is ridiculous.
Now don't get me wrong, I believe in my God and I'm very spiritual.
The churches have over step their boundaries, as usual.
I'm not a big church person in the traditional sense, but that's another story.
I'm sure I will get a lot of negative feedback on this but, sometimes because of our beliefs, we have to take that leap and beat our own drum..

to me it doesn't matter as long as my relationship with God never wavers.
All else can fail us, but that never will.
Consider what Christ went through..

And all he taught was love.
So, if he can do it, why should we strive for any less? No, we're not him, but we can aspire to be like him.
Love is love, so why should we care who people are with, as long as love is present? The sacrament of marriage is a commitment between two individuals who love each other.
Religion should concentrate on the commitment and love parts, especially with the rising divorce rates, not on the gender of those wanting to marry.
