How to Email a Ring Tone to a Bell Cell Phone
- 1). Find a site to purchase ring tones. There are lots of them online (see Resources). Make sure that the site allows you to send a ring tone directly to a cell phone. Most of them do.
- 2). Scroll through the ring tones that you might want on your Bell cell phone. Pay attention to the prices, and then choose the songs you want to have.
- 3). Input your cell phone number for your Bell cell phone when prompted. After you have completed the purchase, the ring tone will be emailed to your phone. Check your phone. Usually, it will appear as a new message, and when you click on the message, the ring tone will transfer into your ring tone list so you can access it.
- 4). Email a ring tone from your computer to a Bell cell phone. This process only works if your Bell cell phone has email access. Create an email addressed to your Bell cell phone. (Speak to your cell phone provider if you don't know the phone's email address.) Attach the ring tone file to the email. Make sure the ring tone is in an acceptable format, such as a .wmp or MP3. Once your cell phone receives the email, open it on the screen. Your cell phone will present the message and ask if you would like to save the attachment. Select "Yes" and then select "Ring tones" when asked where to save it.
