No doubt a break up is a miserable experience for anyone.
However, in certain instances those closest to you can actually make the situation far worse.
As if it's not bad enough that you're dealing with a relationship that went south, but now come to find out your best friend is seeing your ex.
It's completely normal for you to feel confused, disappointed, and angry over this.
If your best friend is now in a rebound relationship with your ex, there are some things you can do.
If you are in this situation, then you will need to vent to someone else.
It's okay to have mixed emotions when you find that your best friend is seeing your ex.
If this is the case, it is very important to share with someone else how you are feeling.
You need to release your frustration and anger so your feelings aren't bottled up.
If you feel like crying, go ahead and do so.
Feeling sad and depressed is normal and being able to vent will help you calm down.
It may also help you to feel better so you can think with a clear head.
Most likely, your family and friends will tell you to relax when you find out your best friend is with your ex.
You're allowed to feel angry and upset.
It's not unusual for people to want their exes all to themselves.
If your best friend is seeing your ex, your memories of being close with your ex could be ruined.
If this describes your situation, it is okay to be angry and upset.
You will need to release these feelings by finding an outlet such as working out, or getting involved in a hobby.
It's important for you to work through these feelings.
Even though you may not want to deal with this, you need to re-evaluate your friendship with your best friend.
Before you end your friendship, it's important to look at the entire situation.
If you're not careful you may ruin a solid friendship over someone who may not be worth it anymore? Re-evaluate the boundaries that you sent forth.
Did you tell your best friend not to date your ex? Does your friend know how you feel about your ex? How would they feel if you were in their shoes? This can be a tough situation especially if your heart is still broken.
It's okay to feel upset and frustrated, but remember venting is the key in releasing your emotions.
Venting will help you decide if your friendship is worth keeping in the end.
