Tourist Places Around Tirupati: A Complete Feel Of Pilgrimage

Tirupati is a city located in Chittor district of Andhra Pradesh state of India. Tirupati is one of the famous pilgrimages in the country and across the world devotees come to this city through the year. The temple of Lord Venkateswara Swamy is the richest temple organisation in the world. Tirupati is just located at 65 kilometers north from the city center. This famous place is located at 150 kilometers from Chennai city and 550 kilometers from Hyderabad. This famous temple established here during 5th century and emerged as a center of Vaishnavism. Chandragiri

Chandragiri is located at 11 kilometers from Tirupati and has a famous fort. That fort constructed on a hard rock base at approximately 180 meters high. The location of fort is necessary to see if wandering around the Tirupati city.

Horsely Hills

This is a hill station and located at 37 kilometers from Tirupati on Chittor road. This hill station has a number of trekking treks and slopes for visitors. This place is located at the border of the state and on an average altitudinal location of 1200 meters from mean sea level.

Kailasakona falls

This place is much wonderful as the location of this fall is mesmerising. The water of this fall is having rich minerals, which suits for improving health. Locals, which based on the water of this fall, are very healthy and far from general diseases. This fall is located at 65 kilometers from Tirupati.

Kabini

Kabini is located at 72 kilometers from Tirupati. This place has a great wildlife sanctuary. More than 135 species have their natural habitat in that sanctuary. Except sanctuary, boating facilities are also available in nearby lake.

Nagarhole

This is a wildlife sanctuary located on 81 kilometers from Tirupati. Bird watching, waterfalls and temples are the main attraction of this point.
