How to Ride a Snow Tube Head First
- 1). Lay the snow tube on a flat, level portion of ground. If you set the tube on the incline of the hill, it will start to move before you can get on it properly.
- 2). Locate the handles that are closer together, rather than evenly spaced along the sides of the seat. Turn the tube so the handles are closer to the hill's slope.
- 3). Stand behind the tube so you are parallel with the narrow handles. Lie down with your stomach directly above the seat of the tube.
- 4). Grasp the handles, one in each hand. Lift up your legs so your feet are parallel with the ground by bending at the knees.
- 5). Lean forward to move the tube down onto the hill and keep a firm grip on the handles, with your feet in the air. Have a friend push you toward the hill if you can't get there yourself.
