- 1). Insert your Motorola USB cable into the charger port on your i465, and insert the other end into the USB slot on your computer. Wait a few seconds and the Phone Tools program will open on your computer automatically.
- 2). Select the "Customize" menu on the program's home screen on your computer, and click "Melody Editor."
- 3). Select your file in the drop-down menu on the following page. This is the song file from your computer that you will be using as your ring tone.
- 4). Click "Transfer to Phone" in the "Selection" menu on the bottom of the current screen and type in a name for the custom ring tone that you want to appear in your media library.
