How to Fix My Credit Report; How I turned My Credit Around in 4 Simple Steps.

I believe that anybody knows the basics of credit repair such as credit scores, credit rating scales, and making a budget. I'm not here to insult you by telling you the same things over. I'm here to help you do something different. I am here to help you "design a life."

The following four steps will assist you in truly getting all of your finances in impeccable shape.

1. I got real serious. I decided that I got real tired of feeling out of control with my finances. It seemed to affect other areas of my life and I was really fed up with how powerless I felt. I made a point to go out there and research information that was
- going to raise my credit score quickly
- help me manage my income(so my income no longer managed me)
- keep my finances balanced for long-term.

2. I obtained a credit report so I could begin devising a plan to get my life back on track. I wanted to know my credit score and I also
wanted to know what marks, both good and bad, were on my credit report.

3. I started paying my bills in a timely matter. I made sure to prioritize which bills were needed to pay first both by size of the bill and also by interest rate I was being charged. I was mainly interested in lowering my overall balance so I tackled the higher bills first.

4. I raised my income. I kept my day job and started looking for things I could do on the Internet to bring an extra cash to accelerate this process. This part was actually very motivating to me.

Just the *action* of raising my income put in a state of mind to where I knew that I would not fail. After trial and error, I was able to find places where I could write articles in my spare time and get paid for it.

I was also able to find part-time data entry jobs, and other simple computer work, but mostly writing articles. By keeping my day job, I was able to keep my "safety net." By doing the freelance stuff like writing articles, I was able to really accelerate my credit liberating process ten-fold.

Of course these steps are just the basics. But they should have fired off some neurons inside your head to get you thinking of ways you have not conceived yet.

Getting a hold of your finances by fixing your credit report is a very liberating thing not so much in the end result, but also in the
journey of doing so, especially when the journey is worthwhile and fun.
