FDA Sues Santa Claus Corporation on Candy Cane Labels
Apparently, the agency has been cracking down on labeling of food products, and Santa Corps [NYSE Symbol CHRS] has been individually wrapping each candy cane it distributes without labels of the ingredients.
On CNBC's Closing Bell, Maria Bartiromo, asked Santa Clause, but I thought everyone knew that your Signature Branded Candy Canes were made out of Sugar and Candy? "..
but of course they are made out of Candy and Sugar," said Santa Claus VII, CEO and Chairman of Santa Claus Corporation, "what the hell do you think they are made out of, we've had the same candy canes since 1907 when Santa Clause the fifth, my Great Grandfather was running the company, he's the one, as you know who introduced the spiral red stripes, which I've always considered one of the company's greatest innovations, but now the FDA is suing us, and this could jeopardize Christmas!" Apparently, Rick Santelli has a theory that the big candy distributors are worried that Santa Claus Corporations recent huge purchase of Sugar Futures is driving the cost up for the other candy makers, and they lobbied to get the investigation launched.
Meanwhile, Glen Beck stated that he believed this was a conspiracy by Left-Winger Liberal-Socialists to steal Christmas, as "Christmas" is no longer politically correct anymore.
Lou Dobbs also made a comment, but was let go by the network over his condemnation of the Lawsuit and socialist agenda.
It's hard to say if there will be a Christmas this year due to the government's untimely lawsuit against this 150-year old firm.
