How to Create a Burlesque Make Up Look
- 1). Use concealer to cover any blemishes or dark spots.
- 2). Spread a heavy matte foundation evenly over your entire face.
- 3). Apply a soft pink blush to cheekbones. A small amount is all that is needed.
- 4). Apply pressed powder to give the skin a flawless finish.
- 1). Cover the entire eyelid all the way to the eyebrow with a pale luminescent eyeshadow, such as white or gold.
- 2). Generously line the upper eyelid with black eyeliner pencil.

Go over the applied eyeliner with a liquid liner to create the dramatically defined eyes characteristic of burlesque dancers. - 4). Curl the eyelashes, being careful not to disturb the eyeliner. If the eyeliner becomes smudged, reapply.
- 5). Apply mascara to the top and bottom lashes, or apply the false eyelashes according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- 1). Line the lips carefully with a red lip liner pencil. It is OK to embellish a little to make the lips look fuller.
- 2). Apply a generous amount of red lipstick.
- 3). Use lip gloss over the lipstick to create the perfect pouty lips.
