Whose Number Did I Write Down?

103 13
There are many different kinds of things that you can find out simply by using their phone number and the various tools that are available on the internet.
Not only can you look into information about someone else, but you can also look up your own telephone number and find out what others can discover about you.
You can do this with both a landline number or the digits from a cellular phone.
They each have their own query sites that perform different functions.
Try to find out what kind of number you have before you try to investigate it, but if you aren't sure, it's not a problem.
It will simply take an additional quick step to get the job done.
If you aren't sure what number you have or if you know that you have a landline number, then you'll want to use a wired line site.
Those sites are based on free public data, similar to what you'd find in the local phone book.
To use them, you simply need to enter the digits into the query field of the site and then find out what name and mailing address is registered with it.
Similarly, if the number you're using is for a cell phone, then you should find an online service specifically meant for them.
This information is private, so you will need a premium site to investigate them.
The process itself is very similar to looking into landlines.
For example, you still type in the ten digits, but the results are broken into two phases.
The first phase is the basic information.
This includes the city in which the phone service was registered as well as the cellular service provider to which the number is subscribed.
This information is provided for free.
The premium service is revealed after a nominal searching fee or membership fee and allows you to use the phone number lookup to find the name and mailing address associated with the number.
The address is the place to which the bill is sent and is not the actual physical location of the wireless device.
