How to Make a Wreath From Real Leaves
- 1). Cut a strand of wire 9 inches long with a pair of sharp wire cutters.
- 2). Loop the wire through a Styrofoam wreath base and twist the ends together. This wire loop gives you a place from which to hang the wreath.
- 3). Pin two or three leaves to the wreath using a T-pin. Secure the pin centrally and slightly closer to the stem than to the tip. This allows the leaves to be held securely to the wreath.
- 4). Spread the leaves out slightly to create a more bushy appearance.
- 5). Pin another two or three leaves to the wreath base, ideally covering up the first pin with the edges of the newly-added leaves.
- 6). Repeat these steps until the wreath is entirely covered. Hang the wreath.
