How to Print From a PC to a Mac Printer
- 1). Launch the System Preferences utility from your Mac's dock.
- 2). Click the "Print & Fax" icon.
- 3). Click the "Sharing" tab.
- 4). Select each printer and check the box next to "Share these printers with other computers."
- 5). Close the System Preferences utility (by selecting "Quit System Preferences" under "File" in the top menu bar).
- 6). Download and run Bonjour for Windows on your PC, located at: support.apple.com/downloads/Bonjour_for_Windows.
- 7). Click the "Install" button, select the "Repair" option and click the "Next" button to begin installation.
- 8). Click the "Finish" button.
- 9). Select the "Printers" utility in the Control Panel and verify that the printer was automatically added to your printer list.
- 1). Launch the Airport Utility on your Mac (located in the "Utilities" subfolder under "Applications").
- 2). Select your base station and click the "Manual Setup" button.
- 3). Click the "Printers" icon at the top of the window and confirm that your base station recognizes that your printer is connected to the base station via USB. The name of the printer will be displayed next to "USB Printer."
- 4). Click the options to "Share printers over WAN" and "Share printers over the Internet using Bonjour."
- 5). Click the "Update" button.
- 6). Wait for your Airport Base Station to restart with the saved settings.
- 7). Follow steps 6 to 9 in Section 1 to install Bonjour for Windows on your PC and automatically add the network printer to your printer list.
