) Take or have photos taken of your incident locations.
2.
) Notify the responsible party without delay.
When required call police and/or ambulance.
3.
) Undergo medical examination and obtain medical result in writing.
4.
) Engage an attorney to represent you or proceed by yourself.
5.
) Ascertain from your attorney as to whether you have a strong case and are likely to succeed, also find out as to what amount of compensation you might be awarded.
This question you will have to ask also, when the engagement is on a "No win No Fee" Basic.

) Take time to consider whether the cost involved is worth your action.

) Inform the respondent in writing of the incident and your intention of claiming compensation.
(Don't Mention any Amount) 8.
) You will now have to proceed giving the respondent legal notice of claim to establish the respondent's full name and address.
This notice must be given within 9 months from date of incident or first appearance of symptoms of the injuries.
Or 1 month after your attorney has been instructed to act on your behalf.

) When action ("8" above) is completed you have to lodge the final part of your claim.
  1. From now on you will have to keep the respondent informed of your medical condition
  2. When you are ready to have your claim finalized you will have to inform the respondents as to how you attend to proceed.
    Your attorneys will advice you.
  3. Always remember that the claimant has to proof that the respondent is/was responsible.
  4. Public location, including shopping centres at all times need to be free from any slipping or tripping hazards.
    The failure to ensure that aisles are safe and there is no obstacles, particularly hidden danger is the responsibility of the owners and manager.
  5. Motor Vehicle Accident
  6. When required by law report the incident to the police.
    Give your name, address, and licence number to the other party.
    Get the name, address, and licence number from the other party.
    If the other party drives away, take his vehicle registration number.
    Do not admit that you are in the wrong.
    Do not accuse the other party.
    Remain calm, friendly and courteous.
    Do not make or offer any settlement nor incur any expense except for immediate necessary medical relief.
  7. Owner's injury
  8. If the vehicle owner be injured in any way through the wrongful act or negligence of the driver, the driver may be held liable.
  9. Vehicle repair garage
The owner of such a business is bound to exercise reasonable care to vehicles entrusted to him.
The owner of the vehicle is not liable to third parties for the negligence of the owner's employees.
Should the garage owner or his employees operate a vehicle the garage owner is liable for any damage done to the vehicle or a third person.
