How to Make Lighted Christmas Window Wreaths
- 1). Weave the mini-lights into the fir wreath. Artificial fir boughs have wire branches, so you will easily be able to string the lights among the branches and have them hold. Make sure the lights are not stretched out in a straight line, but rather wander around the wreath randomly. Stop weaving the lights in when you reach the part of the strand that does not have light bulbs.
- 2). Hang the Christmas balls on the wreath. You can either let them hang down from the branches or work them in so they appear to be incorporated into the actual construction. Use hangers to secure the ornaments. You can either scatter them randomly around the wreath or arrange them so that they are clustered on one side or the other.
- 3). Attach the large velvet ribbon. It can go at the top, the bottom or on the side. Placing it at the top will hide the electric cord from the lights as well as any hanger if you have to run the cord out of a window. Placing it at the bottom will hide the cord if you have an outlet outside.
