Identify the Parts

• The first thing to do is open the box, remove all the contents, lay them out and discard all the plastic bags. Now check the directions to make sure all the parts are there. Some models convert to strollers as well. Identify those parts and put them back in the box. When you're ready, slide the frame joiner into the frame joiner housing until it clicks into place, then assemble the canopy over the framework. Now place your hand in the canvas seat and push down; if it seems loose, tighten the canopy seat by pulling both straps that run underneath.
  
  

Canopy and Rain Shield

• Throw the canopy over the frame, with the logo facing the back. Now look for the snaps on all four corners and snap them into place. Then join the canopy to the rear flap with the hook and loop tape. There is a rain shield that can be either rolled up or snapped into place. There is also hook and loop tape on the very bottom of the rain shield that should be joined after you load the trailer.
  
  

Wheels Come Next

• Lay the trailer on its side with the tow bar on top, and unlock it. Pivot the tow bar to the front and insert the lock pin shaft all the way through the bracket and tow bar. Now get out the wheels and push the wheel into the axle receiver until it clicks. This may take some force, so make absolutely sure it clicks into place. Do both sides, then stress-test them by trying to pull them back off.
  
  

Coupler and Receiver

• Now get your bike and release the quick release mechanism on the back wheel. Continue loosening it, and take both sides off: lever, nut, springs and all. Now pull the skewer completely out, but leave the wheel on the bike. Now get the coupler device and tab washer that came with the kit and slide it onto the skewer. Now slide the skewer with the coupler and lock washer back into the axle hub, then put both ends of the skewer back on and tighten it. Make sure the locking washer clicks into place in the bike's dropout receiver.
  
  

Hook Them Together and Ride

• Slide the trailer up to the bike, and fit the end of the tow bar into the receiver that you just placed on the axle of the bike. It will look like the angle is off, but the spring is there to tension the joint and give it flexibility (you will understand once you begin riding). Now place the pin on the cord through the coupler and receiver on your bike. You are ready to ride. Just remember: Trailers are wider, don't take sharp turns, and brace your bike when stopping. Don't hit bumps too hard, and follow all the rules of the road regarding bikes.
