How to Assemble a Barracuda Pool Cleaner
- 1). Slide the flexible ribbed cleaning wheel onto the bottom of the pool cleaner assembly with the ribs facing upward. The wheel should be seated into the groove on the base and spin freely.
- 2). Slide the circular deflector wheel onto the pipe extension on the upper side of the pool cleaner assembly until it snaps in between the two grooves pipe. The wheel should spin freely.
- 3). Measure your pool from the skimmer to the farthest point of the pool with a measuring tape. Push together sections of hose (included with your pool cleaner) to equal this measurement until they snap together. Add one additional section of hose if your pool skimmer is located at the end or at a corner of your pool. Add two additional lengths of hose if your skimmer is at the center of the pool.
- 4). Push the assembled hose onto the pipe extension of the pool cleaner assembly until it snaps into place. Slide a weight onto the center of the first hose section, depending on your model of Barracuda pool cleaner. Follow the directions that came with your cleaner for more information on the installation of weights.
- 5). Remove the basket in your skimmer by lifting it out. Set the basket aside. Install the flow keeper valve (included with your pool cleaner) into the skimmer where the basket would normally sit. Push the opposite end of the assembled hose into the flow keeper valve until it is fully seated.
