The city of Bradford is situated in McKean County, Pennsylvania, close to the Allegheny National Forest. This part of Pennsylvania has a number of fishing locations as well as licensed fishing guides. There is bass fishing in the Allegheny Reservoir and the Clarion River, and on the nearby Susquehanna River. - The best fishing in the area is in the Allegheny National Forest. There are cabins for rent, and the park has more than 600 campsites, some with hookups for RVs and others suitable for tents. There are six boat launches in the park. Both the Allegheny River and Clarion River has sections which are included in the federal Wild and Scenic River System.
