How to Install WRX Pitch Stop
- 1). Let the engine cool off if the car has recently been driven. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal on the battery.
- 2). Locate the stock pitch stop mount. The mount is located in the center of the engine bay just behind the engine and is a black plastic, bone-shaped brace.
- 3). Loosen and remove the bolts that hold the pitch stop mount in place with the socket and ratchet. The mount does not have any tension on it and should be easy to remove. Do not misplace the bolts. Slide the mount out once the bolts have been removed.
- 4). Slide the new mount into place in the same orientation that the stock mount was installed. Install the bolts that held the stock mount in place. Tighten the bolts with the socket and ratchet. Reconnect the cable to the negative battery terminal.
