Water Parks in Texas
- Schlitterbahn Waterparks are located in three locations within Texas. In the town of New Braunfels, the Schlitterbahn Waterpark Resort, is a 65-acre water park which offers free parking, free tubes, and free lifejackets. The park includes 3 miles of tubing adventures, 7 children's water playgrounds, 17 water slides, 3 uphill water coasters, and the world's first surfing machine. Schlitterbahn allows you to bring your own picnic. General admission to the park, for adults, is $50.98 for one day and $73.98 for two-day passes, as of January 2011. General admission to the park is $42.98 for one day and $60.98 for two days for children 3 to 11 and seniors 55 and over. Children under 3 are admitted free. Season passes are also available.
- Splash Town USA is located in Spring, Texas. It offers 10 slides and pools, three raft rides, and five family attractions and pools. In addition, the park allows guests to rent a cabana that includes food and beverages with waiter service, bottles of water, sunscreen, tubes for all guests, meals for all guests, towels, and a family-size locker for storage. Splash Town offers patrons rental services that include lockers and tubes. The park does not allow you to bring your own picnic. General admission to the park is $84.99 per person, and Splash Town recommends buying a season pass, which is only $64.99 per person, as of January 2011.
- Wet 'N' Wild Waterworld is located in Anthony, Texas. It offers 20 slides, pools, and lagoons. The favorite rides of the park include the Alien Vortex, the Volcano Lagoon, and The Old Woman and The Shoe, which is designed especially for infants and toddlers. The park allows you to bring your own picnic, and you can even barbecue on the grounds by bringing your own grill or by renting a grill from them. As of January 2011, general admission is $19.95 for adults, $13.95 for seniors 65 and over, $17.95 for kids, and $2.95 for toddlers of ages 1 to 3). Children under 11 months are admitted free. Season passes are also available.
- Lost Lagoon is part of SeaWorld San Antonio located in San Antonio, Texas. This water park offers eight slides and pools and includes relaxing cabanas. The park allows you to bring small snacks and water bottles. General, single-day admission, which includes the price of admission for the Lost Lagoon, is $59.99 for adults and $49.99 for kids 3 to 9 as of January 2011.
