How to Make a Foam Turkey Caddy
- 1). Saw the Styrofoam ball in half with a serrated bread knife.
- 2). Cover your work surface with newspaper of butcher paper. Paint the rounded portion of the foam ball with brown acrylic craft paint. Let the paint dry for several hours.
- 3). Cut a large peanut shape out of heavy brown card stock. Place two googly eyes on the top part of the peanut for eyes. Cut a beak out of yellow card stock and a wattle our of red card stock. Attach the beak and wattle with craft glue.
- 4). Glue the turkey head to the front of the foam caddy with craft glue. Use glue dots or a hot glue gun for immediate adhesion.
- 5). Gather markers, colored pencils or crayons. Press each marker into the foam ball approximately one inch. Leave the markers in the foam to make the feathers of the turkey.
- 6). Store the markers in the Thanksgiving turkey caddy all through November.
