  Oracle Primavera is a list of project management solutions for project-centered industries. Primavera's project portfolio management solution, along with Oracle's project management products, offers an integrated Enterprise Project Portfolio Management suite. For instance, Contract Management can help manage documents, control costs and ensure projects are on schedule and on budget. Using this solution, organizations can also manage resource distribution and supply chain efficiently, decrease costs, control changes and make effective decisions. Database Server

• The Primavera product needs a database server containing data generated and used in the applications. The database server can be accessed and updated by users from various locations. The database's systems require Microsoft SQL Server 2000 SP4 and 2005 SP2, or Oracle Database 10g Release 2. Minimum hardware and software requirements for up to 10 users are a Pentium 600 MHz processor, 1GB of memory, 350MB of disk space, IIS 5.0, Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 and Windows XP System and Microsoft Windows Server 2000.
  
  

Web Server

• The Web server is used to provide services to users through a Web browser. It also enables collaboration between users. The Web server must run on Windows Server 2003 SP2 with the latest updates. IIS 6.x or later is required. Primavera Portfolio Management front-end server runs on 32-bit servers, while the back-end server runs on both 32-bit and 64-bit servers. The recommended hardware components comprise 550 MHz processor, 256 MB RAM and 2.9GB hard drive disk space.
  
  

Client Computer System Specifications

• You can access the Web server and database server anywhere with an Internet connection. Clients can be connected to the Primavera servers concurrently. Client machines are run on Windows 2000 Professional SP4 or Windows XP SP2. The required utilities include Microsoft Java Virtual Machine 5.00.3810, IE 6.0 or later, Office 2003 or 2007 running on a Pentium 4 and 512 RAM or more.
