Using Photography Posing
Posing is an important part of any picture.
You could think of posing as being for people only.
But it is also vital to place objects in order to have a photo that is properly arranged.
If you are very free spirited then you probably don't like the idea of arranging and posing.
This is understandable.
But even the posing or arranging can be done so that it looks completely incidental.
You may not be aware but this is a very creative part of the process of shooting pictures.
Photography, posing and placement all work together to give you the shot you want.
There are certain categories of photography that absolutely must make use of posing.
A good example would be portraits.
A good photographer is going to make suggestions regarding on how you should sit or stand.
The secret is to find a pose that shows some of your personal character.
If you enjoy horse riding you may be asked to wear your riding gear and hold a riding crop.
Your clothing and riding crop tell something about you.
But the photographer is still going to decide whether you should sit or stand or lean against the backdrop.
A family portrait would require very careful photography.
Posing could entail some members standing while others may be seated on chairs.
Of course, it would depend on whether the portrait is formal or not.
Allowing young grandchildren to play in front of grandparents seated on the porch is very relaxed.
For a formal portrait the younger men could stand while the older family members could be seated in front of them.
Young children could be seated on the ground right in front of the group.
