How to Keep Your Readers Interested - Article Marketing Tips for Coaches

103 10
As an article marketer, you need to understand that your job doesn't end the moment you're able to get your target audience to open your articles.
You will still need to ensure that these people will read your articles until the end or until they reach your resource box.
So, you better make sure that you'll keep them interested.
Here's how you can do that: 1.
Start by writing a very compelling introduction.
Your audience will decide if they'll continue reading your articles or not based on your introduction.
If after reading your first couple of sentences they feel that you've got nothing good to offer or if they feel that your articles are not really worth their time, they'll click that big X button and move to the next article.
Obviously, this is something that you don't want to happen.
So, know how you can get them on the edge of their seats as soon as possible.
Make your introduction very promising.
Tell these people what's in store for them and give them valid reasons to read on.
Using earth-shattering questions or mind-boggling statements usually helps.
2.
Make your articles informative.
Your audience will surely not mind reading your articles until the end if they're getting the kind of information that they're looking for.
So pack your articles with something that they'll find useful.
For example, you can share with them some of your secrets or offer them with insider tips.
These people will also appreciate it if you help them find the best solutions to their pressing issues and if you provide the best answers to their most frequent questions.
3.
Make it easy on the eyes.
Make your articles interesting to read by making them relatively short and easy on the eyes.
You can make this happen by using as many white blank spaces as possible.
Breakdown your articles into several short paragraphs or discuss each of your ideas using number or bullet list.
Using subheadings that will tell your readers the content of the succeeding paragraph will also help.
4.
Make it easy to understand.
Most online users today do not really have the patience to read articles that will require them to pull out their dictionary just to get the message that is being sent across.
So, do these people and yourself a favor by making your articles very easy to understand.
There's no need to use big, fancy words and lengthy sentences.
Write as if you're having casual conversation with your readers.
Use terms and phrases that you would normally use when explaining things to a 10th grader.
Believe me, this will help you easily get through to as many people as possible.
5.
Leave them wanting for more.
Although you would like to impress your readers with your in-depth knowledge in your niche, you must avoid giving them every piece of information that they're looking for on your articles.
This is to entice them to clickthrough to your resource box so they'll visit your website where they'll get additional information.
