How to Enable Document Conversion in MS Word 2007
- 1). Start MS Word 2007. Click the Microsoft Office button in the upper left corner of the page and select "Open." A dialog box will appear. Navigate to the file you wish to convert, select it and click the "Open" button.
- 2). Click the Microsoft Office button and select "Convert." A dialog box will appear to verify your action. Click "OK." The program will convert the file to the MS Word 2007 format.
- 3). Save the file. If you wish to save the converted file over its original format, then click the Microsoft Office button and select "Save." If you wish to retain the original format then select "Save as" from the Microsoft Office menu and save the new file under a different name.
