Raiding in World of Warcraft
When you reach a certain point in World of Warcraft, you will now be able to start raiding.
Raiding is usually done with a group of friends of friendly players that you have come to know through the game.
The one thing that is nice about going into a raid, is that your group will progress together and no one is left behind.
You will share your experiences and loot.
Contrary to popular belief, raiding is not about loot.
Yes you will have to share your loot gained in a raid, but it will benefit you as well as your group.
If you have found that you are not a team player, then I would not suggest raiding in a group for you, I would say continue on your way to the solo leveling.
If you have just started playing the game and are new to World of Warcraft raiding, I would not suggest jumping into it.
You do need to learn a few "lessons" before getting into a team and group environment.
It is nice to be able to loot and attain all the profit and have nothing to share, although love of the game should come before loot.
In a raid with a group you may only receive a good loot once a night, this is a low price to pay.
You will also need to be able to take correction from your boss or leader.
There will be only one group leader per group and you will need to be able to listen and follow their directions.
The leader will be responsible for all moving and changing of assignments.
Generally there is not a lot of talking during a raid, as this is a raid and not a grinding session.
If you are new, you should maybe stay back, watch, listen and learn.
You should always discuss the conditions of the loot before the raid begins.
This can always be a sensitive subject if you are trying to get to a certain goal.
Just be sure that you and your group have agreed on everything before you start the raid.
Be patient and have fun during the raid, even if you are new.
Pretty soon there will be someone else to take your newbie spot!
