Edward Furlong
Known for his role as John Connor in “Terminator 2: Judgment Day.”
Actor Edward Furlong, 35, was arrested on January 14, 2013, at 5:45 a.m., after police responded to disturbance complaints at his Los Angeles home.
Update: On March 6, 2013, Furlong was sentenced by the Los Angeles Superior Court to 180 days in jail for violating his probation and a protective order to stay away from his ex-girlfriend Monica Keena.
The orders stemmed from his arrest on domestic violence charges in October 2012 after he attacked Keena at the Los Angeles airport.
According to his lawyer Brian Michaels, Furlong was given the opportunity to go into a drug rehabilitation program rather than go to jail, but he turned it down.
"Mr. Furlong had the opportunity to avoid jail in a deal my office worked out which would have resolved not just this case but two other criminal cases in Beverly Hills, by checking himself into a drug rehabilitation program, a very unusual disposition in a case that alleged violence." said Michaels.
In 2010, Furlong ignored a protective order to stay away from his estranged wife Rachael Kneeland and was given three years probation.
