Diets don't work.
Sorry, that is just a fact.
Diets will help you lose a few pounds, you may even reach your goal weight, but the sad fact is: when you go back to your regular life, you will gain it all back.
The only way to lose weight is to change you lifestyle, losing weight is a lifestyle change, not a temporary diet change.
Fad diets are even worse.
Yes if you eat grapefruit all day you are bound to burn calories, but are you going to do that for the rest of your life? Diet commercials will help you lose weight for a little while, but when you are off the food, and back to normal then what? This is why most commercials are careful to tell you "results not normal" seeing that statement should be enough to make you stop and take pause.
If it is not normal, what is? You really don't want to know.
Men especially have a hard time, because most of these plans are directly to the ladies as if men do not have issues with weight or it is easier for us, because we just jump on the elliptical and sudden we have abs like Arnold, you know the governor of California.
