How to Make Tasty Brown Rice
- 1). Rinse rice with cold water in mesh strainer; drain completely.
- 2). Add rice, 1 cup water and 1 1/4 cup chicken stock in to pot. Cover pot, let cook over medium heat for 20 minutes.
- 3). Uncover pot, reduce heat to low, and continue to cook for 10 minutes.
- 4). Test rice, allow it to cook a few more minutes if necessary.
