Beginning Steps on How to Become an Entrepreneur
Listed below are 5 steps that should be examined as you seek how to become an entrepreneur.
It is important that you define this...
and its got to be more than the desire for money, because money is just a tool.
Spend some time defining your reason WHY.
There are a million reasons and any suggestion I make would possibly cheat your own exploration of why you want to become an entrepreneur.
Take a journal and spend sometime alone.
In the middle of the paper, write down the word "WHY.
" Right down the random thoughts that come to you as you look at that word.
Spend some time on this.
Once you feel you have truly determined your reason why, it's time to clean it up and produce a clearly written vision statement.
This is the foundation and a critical step that you don't want to miss, because you will rely on your vision to get you through every obstacle.
To form your vision, picture your reasons that you wrote concerning your WHY, see them being manifested in the future.
What does it look like? Write down specifically what it looks like and this will be the formation of your vision statement.
Here is the important part- You Can Trick Your Mind.
To truly see your vision become reality, your mind has to see your vision as reality.
To do this, write your vision statement in the present tense.
When you read it, you will read it as if it's occurring right now.
Once you finalize your vision statement, read it every morning and every evening- pretty soon your unconscious mind will believe that you are there and you will begin making decisions voluntarily and involuntarily as if you are realizing your vision at the very moment.
By far, this is probably the hardest part of any person's entrepreneurial journey.
While your unconscious mind is being tricked to see your vision as reality, you will still have to follow through on actually doing the things that need to be done.
You need to have the discipline to fight laziness and procrastination, the discipline to fight fear and still take action.
You see, the first person you will ever have to lead and manage is yourself.
Self-Mastery is accomplished by setting up an accountability system.
First, you need to write down the things that need to be done.
Then you need to have some way to ensure that you do them and to record your progress.
Some people use must-do lists, calendar markings, digital notes...
you just have to find something that works for you.
In addition, it helps to have an accountability partner- someone who knows your goals and deadlines and isn't afraid to call you out.
Self-mastery also includes making sure you keep your attitude and mindset going in the correct direction.
This requires a constant stream of positive influence coming into your life.
Whether it's utilizing personal development materials or trusting in new friendships and relationships that give you a positive mental boost, you need to have positive things being put in front of you.
You know the old saying, "Garbage In, Garbage, Out.
" Well, that's true for your mind as well.
Don't let your spirit and mind be a dumping ground.
Eliminate the negative influences in your life (you can control most of these things).

This isn't as complex as it sounds.

After you decide what that it is, then you must make sure your values and your goals take your brand into consideration.
Finally, the hardest part is this: Your Actions and Activities must always support your brand image.
That's it.
And it's probably one of the most important things you must establish to grow your business successfully.
