How to Hang Up a 2 Sided Poster Without Damaging the Poster
- 1). Thoroughly clean the wall, scrubbing the entire area where the poster will go with a sponge and household cleanser. Rinse the area by sponging it with clear water. Let it dry for 24 hours.
- 2). Lay the two-sided poster on the floor, with the side that is going to be against the wall facing up at you.
- 3). Apply a spot of toothpaste to one corner. Use a circle of paste a little smaller than a dime, about 1/8 inch deep.
- 4). Do the same for each corner of the poster. Add additional dabs across the middle of the back of the poster, about one dab for every 2 feet of space in each direction.
- 5). Let it sit for about an hour, so the toothpaste is just starting to dry out and get crusty. It should still be very pliable, but not as pasty as it was.
- 6). Hang the poster on the wall first, first pressing the top edge to the wall and them pressing the rest. Make sure to press on each part of the poster where there are dabs of toothpaste behind it.
