Fun Way to Decorate Paper Eyeglasses
- 1). Create colorful lenses. Cut out two pieces of cellophane that are slightly larger than each eye opening on the glasses -- use different colors of cellophane: red, purple or blue, perhaps. Apply glue around the inner rim of each of the eyeglass openings. Press one piece of cellophane over the glue on each of the openings.
- 2). Color the rims of the glasses with markers, colored pencils or crayons. Color the rims all one color or use a variety of colors. Use a different color on each of the earpieces and a third color on the front of the frames. Create patterns with different colors; stripes, polka dots or zigzags, for example.
- 3). Apply stickers, sequins or faux gemstones to the glasses. Use the self-adhesive back of the stickers to apply them to the glasses. Glue the sequins or faux gemstones onto the surface of the eyeglass frames.
- 4). Glue feathers onto the eyeglass frames. Apply glue around the outer edges of the frames and press feathers onto the glue. Use a few or several feathers, whatever suits your taste.
- 5). Decorate the eyeglass frames with glitter. Apply glue to the surface of the glasses where you want to add glitter. Sprinkle glitter over the glued portion of the glasses.
