How to Age Terracotta Pots
- 1). Place your terracotta pot on an outdoor worktable.
- 2). Brush on natural yogurt to the outside of the pots and over the rim using a dry paintbrush. Make the sweeps as uniform as possible in a vertical fashion. The stiffer the brush the better the aging will look.
- 3). Plant your flowers or plants after you have painted the yogurt on the container. Keep your plants outside. Algae will be attracted to the bacteria in the yogurt and make the pot look aged.
