Are you struggling to keep up with the given time for answering questions on the Praxis I? Has the time aspect of the Praxis I brought you failure in your previous attempts? Let me teach you how to speed up your answering skills right here! While you are sitting for the Praxis I, time can really put immense pressure on you.
It may even lead to mental block.
If you want to beat the Praxis I test, you have to ensure that your answering speed is up to par.
You have to not let the time factor get to you.
Don't worry though; in this article I will explain to you in a step-by-step manner how you can increase your answering speed for optimum performance during the Praxis I test.
How To Answer All The Test Questions On Time In The Praxis I Teacher Certification Test Answering the questions in the test on time is totally possible if you can train yourself to do so before facing it.
You can look up on some test preparation tips to do this, or you can just follow the straightforward step-by-step guide I will present to you now.
Step By Step Test Practice Guide To Increase Answering Speed Gradually 1) First of all, be sure to have enough test practice material.
Though your Praxis I study guide is useful, it will not help in increasing your question-answering speed.
You can try finding a free sample test or two online, and buy practice questions for you to attempt.
2) After you have reviewed your study guide, you should try these questions that you now have.
You can do this after a full review, or topic by topic if that appeals to you.
3) Be sure to give yourself the exact amount of time given in the real test for your test practice sessions too.
In the real test, you are given 75 minutes for 46 questions (computerized version) for the reading and mathematics sections, and 44 questions in 38 minutes for the writing section.
This means you have about a minute and a half for each question in reading and mathematics, and less than a minute in writing.
If your test practice has 20 questions, say, for reading, then give yourself no more than 30 minutes to complete them.
4) While doing questions, answer the ones that are easy first.
If you come across a difficult question, mark it and move on to the next question.
Even in the computerized version of the real test, you can mark a question and come back to it later.
Once you have tackled all the easy questions, do the difficult ones.
Try your best not to exceed a minute and a half for each question (or a minute for writing).
Keep doing this and you will definitely increase your speed enough to answer everything in time.
Start Right Now To Increase Your Answering Speed In Your Praxis I Test If you want to be an excellent test taker with good speed during the Praxis I, don't delay any longer.
Start putting together your practice material today and if you have already done so, then start doing your prep questions while timing yourself to the dot.
