How to Remove a Red Stamp of Paper Ink
- 1). Apply two to three squirts of hairspray, preferably from an aerosol can, to the stain to loosen the ink. Let the stain sit for about two minutes. Blot the ink with a dry cloth.
- 2). Blot the spot with a moistened cotton ball, if the ink remains after Step 1. Add a small drop of rubbing alcohol to the cotton ball and blot the stain.
- 3). Mix 1 tbsp. baking soda into 1/2 cup water, provided that the ink stain still remains after Step 2. Stir until you create a loose paste. Apply the mixture to the stain with a cotton swab. Let it sit for five minutes, then dry the spot with a paper towel and remove the stain.
