Real Men Dream - How Men Can Change Their Lives
Dreaming is freeing.
Many men have dreamt their way out of war, poverty, and adversity.
If you don't allow yourself to dream then you are "choking" off an important part of living.
A prisoner stuck in a suffocating cell can survive by dreaming of his sentence being overturned or life after parole.
No one can stop you from dreaming.
Let me repeat that, NO ONE CAN STOP YOU FROM DREAMING.
Life will try to press in on you and stop you from dreaming.
True dreams are those that you will fight for, pursue to the ends of the earth, through poverty and difficulty.
Moving from where you are to a better place is accomplished by dreaming of your new destination.
There may be nothing as motivating as a 'Destiny Dream.
" This is a dream that shows you what you were put on earth to do-your assignment.
The waters of jealousy or negativity can't put out the fire of a destiny dream.
Destiny dreams unfulfilled can torment you on your deathbed and overshadow your material possessions and accolades.
There is nothing sadder than an old man drowning on "I Wish"; wishing he had the chance to go back and fight for his dream.
Real men dream and then dedicate their energy to pursuing their dreams.
Dr.
King died for his dream so it is fitting to borrow from his famous quote: "If a man has nothing he is willing to die for than he isn't fit to live.
" Slaves died for the dream of freedom.
Civil rights champions died for freedom.
Soldiers died for the dream of freedom.
Community activists died for the dream of freedom.
Everyday men dream of freedom.
Freedom from lack, freedom from ignorance, freedom from oppression, freedom from temptation, freedom from boredom and freedom from fear.
When real men dream and then act; their family changes, their community changes, their country changes, the world changes.
Dreams can free you from current struggles.
Dreams will provide the motivation to break free from the depression, stagnation, and limitations that currently bind you.
If you are not dreaming it's usually because you are afraid or narrowly focused on the wrong things.
If you are living a life that is not fulfilled, if you are not impacting your community, shaping the world, then you are either not dreaming big enough or not working your dream hard enough.
Whatever the reason, stop playing, stop wasting time, stop searching outside of yourself and look inside for you dream.
Don't be afraid; rather be courageous enough to be alone with your thoughts, fears and regrets.
Push them aside and find your dream.
It may be an old dream that you have ignored or a new dream.
Find a dream that will ignite the passion within and make you leap into action.
Dream Man Dream.
Run don't walk, life is waiting for you to dream and then use that dream to make a difference.
Your life and the world will be a much better place if all men would dream, believe in their dream and work to achieve that dream.
