I knew about this campground from seeing their sign on an earlier visit to the area, and I RV camped there in August 2009.
Describe your camping trip:
Beautiful sites. Lots of trees and shady spots. Sites were long and wide with nice spots for campfires.
Pros: Nice staff. Very good sites and lots of shade trees. Close to many fun side trips.br>
Cons: Bathrooms were clean, but older and in need of revamping.
Showers were far from the area we camped in and primitive. Check in was at 3 (would have liked it a little earlier). No cable hookup. Rates were not inexpensive.
Nearby attractions: Fort Necessity, Ohiopile, Fallingwater, rafting, wineries, water sports.
Further comments: We liked it well enough to put up with the bathrooms for short stays. Will probably return for a two or three day visit.
