How Do I Replace a Cabin Filter on a 2000 Chevy S10 Pickup?
- 1). Remove the kick plate near where your left leg would be if you were sitting in the passenger seat. The kick plate is below and to the left of the glove box. There will be four screws to remove. Then pull off the kick plate.
- 2). Unscrew the single screw that holds the door to the cabin air filter closed.
- 3). Pull out and up to remove the door.
- 4). Remove the cabin air filter.
- 5). Replace the cabin air filter with a new one.
- 6). Replace the door by lining it up and pushing down to lock it back into place.
- 7). Screw the screw into the door to hold it closed.
- 8). Line the kick plate up and hold it in place while you replace the four screws to hold it on.
