How to Curve the Cue Ball
- 1). Hold your pool cue to an angle of 30 or 45 degrees from the surface of the table, with the tip of the cue pointing at the back of the ball.
- 2). Curve the ball in an arc to the right by hitting the ball in the center, on the right-hand side of the ball. This is called "Extreme Right English."
- 3). Curve the ball to the left by hitting the ball in the center, on the left hand-side of the ball. This is called "Extreme Left English."
- 4). Increase the elevation of your stick to increase the depth of your curve.
