How to Remove Windows Genuine Warning
- 1). Reboot the computer. Press "F8" as the computer starts up until a menu appears with several boot options. Choose "Safe Mode."
- 2). Go to "Start" and click "My Computer." Click "Windows" and enter the "System32" folder.
- 3). Right-click "wgalogon.dll." Choose "Rename." Add ".bak" to the end of the file name. Right-click "wgatray.exe," choose "Rename" and add ".bak" to this file as well.
- 4). Go to "Start" and click "Run." Type "regedit."
- 5). Expand the following sections in the Registry Editor Window: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE," "SOFTWARE," "Microsoft," "Windows NT" and "Current Version." Enter the "Winlogon" folder. Click "Notify." Right-click "Wgalogon." Click "Delete." Reboot the computer.
