Using Your Voice to Jott Events to Your Gmail Calendar
Whatever the situation, and wherever you are, getting a new event into your calendar right at that moment is the best answer to efficiency and not missing appointments.
Now, without little phone keyboards, without going back to the computer, and without slips of paper for reminders, you can get a new event or to-do into your Gmail calendar on the fly!
Using the Jott service we've written about before, there is a new tool called the "Google Calendar Link" that allows you to just call in to Jott, tell it you want to enter an event for your Google Calendar, and just use your voice to dictate it.
It's like having an assistant right beside you, taking down what you say and doing the work. Jott sends the text of your voice message to your Google calendar. It recognizes the dates and times, and enters the meeting or event into your calendar automatically. You'll find it there when you return to the office, and you'll get whatever reminders you've set up as default in your Google calendar system.
The next time you're driving down the road and remember an appointment you need to set up, just touch that Jawbone button, call Jott, and dictate directly into your Google Calendar.
