    • 1). Activate the north corners, known as the career corners in the important rooms of your home. This includes the your bedroom, home office, living room and dining room. Activate the corner by decorating with blue or black, adding a small picture of water (except in bedrooms, where this is prohibited) and metal objects.

    • 2). Beautify the entrance of your home to attract new career opportunities. Remove anything unsightly and keep the area fresh, clean and uncluttered. Adding a black welcome mat invites water energy into your home. Keep a light turned on in the entrance to your home. Sparkly chandeliers work well here. Use the front door as you come and go, so positive energy flows freely into your home.

    • 3). Look to the south for recognition. Display peacock feathers in the south part of your home. Keep the area well-lit. Add a grouping of nine candles. Consider painting the south room in your home a shade of red or orange. These feng shui suggestions bring you attention and also support your reputation.

    • 1). Sit facing the door at all times. If your furnishings are built in, turn your computer so you can see people coming. Put a plant in the Southeast corner of your office to enhance wealth. Remove spindly plants, and replace with a full, healthy plant, a silk arrangement or a fountain. The Know Feng Shui website recommends plants such as Boston ferns, English ivy, lady or bamboo palms, peace lilies or rubber plants.

    • 2). Activate the northwest corner of your office if you wish to draw mentors or other individuals for help in smoothing your career path. This corner should hold crystals, globes, maps and moving metal objects. A fan or pendulum clock work, for instance. Maps assist when your feel confusion about your career path.

    • 3). Avoid having windows to your back or you may lack the support you need in your career. Your back should face a wall. Avoid bookshelves or cabinets behind you or directly across from you. For maximizing career support, avoid halls, stairways or other entries sitting directly in front from your desk.
