This restore point is saved along with the automatic restore points created by the operating system.
- You can access the System Restore Wizard by selecting "System Restore" from the System Tools list found on the Start menu. This wizard takes you through the steps to restore your system to a previous date. During the process, you can choose a restore date or let Windows XP choose one for you. After the system restore is complete, you will have access only to the previous operating system installation, but your files and folders will remain intact.
