How to Make a Three-Dimensional Christmas Tree Card
- 1). Choose what parts of the card you would like to give dimension to. Use the first card as a base.
- 2). Cut larger images from the second card for the second layer using scissors.
- 3). Affix the second layer to the base card with sticky foam pads; make sure that the cut image fits directly over the same image on the uncut card.
- 4). Cut smaller images from the third card for the third layer using scissors or a craft knife. For example, if your card contains a Christmas tree, the tree could make the second layer while cut-outs of the star and ornaments would make the third layer.
- 5). Affix the third layer cut-outs to the second layer using sticky foam pads; cut the sticky foam pads, if needed, to make them fit unseen under the third layer cut-outs.
- 6). Carefully place the card in the envelope to avoid pulling the dimensional pieces off.
