A General Liability Car Insurance Tale of Caution
He of course has to be insured, but I can not afford a lot of coverage.
I will probably just get General Liability insurance.
It was really all that I could afford.
So I purchased him a policy and he was ready to go.
The next thing that he wanted to do is pick out a car.
Once again I had to make sure that I did not go overboard on the price, because I do not have a lot of money.
I told him that no matter what car he got he had to be careful because liability insurance only covers the other person and if he gets hurt it is all on me.
Of course I know how kids are and I know also that he would not follow the rules all of the time I will just have to pray to god that he never gets into an accident.
We went to the first place to look at some used cars.
I told him that he was not going to get a small little sports car that could get him killed.
I also told him that we could not afford a big SUV.
I told him that his best bet in getting a car was a midsized car that got good gas mileage because he would be responsible for the money for the gas.
He has a job and I would sign for the car, but he was responsible for the monthly payment so he had to make sure that he made enough money to pay for it.
I told him that we would search until we found that perfect car for him.
I told him that the sportier the car the more the insurance costs.
We went to a nice little car lot on the other side of town that had a lot of cobalt's for sale.
They even had a very nice red one.
I though for sure that he would like that one, but of course he saw the yellow mustang and he wanted that one of course.
I told him that he knew that was a sports car and I said no sports cars.
I told him that if he liked yellow that they have a yellow cobalt at the end of the lot.
He pouted a little bit, but he went over to look at it.
It was a standard which was just what he wanted.
