How to Update MyKazaa Gold
- 1). Open the MyKazaa Gold Media Browser. Either double-click the MyKazaa Gold icon on your desktop or go to "Start," then "All Programs," then "MyKazaa Gold."
- 2). Select the "Help" menu at the top of the browser window and choose "Support and Help."
- 3). Scroll down to the section entitled "Using the downloadable version of MyKazaa Gold's search tools."
- 4). Click the first "Click Here" link to be taken to a login screen where you can download and install the latest version or update of MyKazaa Gold.
- 5). Enter your username and password for your MyKazaa Gold account. You can create an account by visiting the MyKazaaGold.net website listed in the Resources section. Press "Login" to enter the website.
- 6). Note your version number for your current software. You can find this by selecting the "Help" menu in the MyKazaa Gold browser window and choosing "About." The version number is listed near the top of the "About" window. If the version number on the downloads page is higher than the version number in your "About" window, click the download link for the MyKazaa Gold update to download. Double-click the file to install. The process is automated.
If your version number is the same, you don't need to update.
