Artegon Marketplace Orlando, the new 1.1 million-square-foot artisan marketplace on I-Drive, offers local residents and visitors 165 artisanal shops, a movie theater, several dining options, and a Sky Trail ropes course. The marketplace also offers weekend entertainment and seasonal events that are often free and always fun.

Artegon Marketplace Orlando Signature Special Events

• The Art of Beer - On Tuesday, April 14 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, enjoy live music, craft beer, and tasty treats from Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill. Everything is free (while supplies last), and you can mingle with local artisans while checking out some hand-crafted ales from Orlando Brewing.

• The Art of Fashion - Experience a one-of-a-kind fashion show on Saturday, April 18 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. The show will feature upcycled fashions and handmade goods from artisans Jortra Boutique, Pletora and Enviroelectric. This event is free.
• Art and Wine Stroll - From 6:00 to 8:00 pm on the third Saturday of every month, stroll through the Village at Artegon Marketplace to enjoy free art, food and wine, and meet some of the local artisans selling their fares at the event. A three-piece jazz band will provide entertainment. Upcoming 2015 dates for this event are April 18, May 16 and June 20.
• Food Truck Fridays - Occurring on the fourth Friday of each month, Artegon's Food Truck Fridays offer live music and entertainment, as well as an impressive variety of food options. Plus, if you bring a receipt showing a $10 purchase from The Village at Artegon Marketplace to Guest Services, you'll get $5 in Food Truck Bucks to use at the event. Upcoming 2015 dates are April 24, May 22 and June 26. This event takes place from 5:00 to 9:00 pm.

• Orlando Art & Wellness Expo - On Saturday, May 16, Orlandoans and tourists can experience a free showcasing of Central Florida's natural health and cultural arts communities. Workshops in meditation and art therapy, color therapy yoga, a body painting competition, guest speakers, live performances, aura photography, and giveaways are some of the highlights of the event. The Orlando Art & Wellness Expo runs from 12:00 to 7:00 pm is a result of a partnership between Artegon Marketplace and Loft 55 Gallery & Boutique.

• Mondays through May 25 - From 12:00 to 9:00 pm, Artegon Skytrail appreciates teachers with free admission (proof of educational profession required). Call 407-864-3447 for more info.
• Sunday, April 19 - The Central Florida Diecast Club will be at the Artegon Marketplace from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Diecast collectors from around the Orlando area will be trading, selling and chatting about collectibles. The public is welcome.
• Wednesday, April 22 - From 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Tea Craze presents the first part of a Custom Blending Class. Cost is $15 per person, and you can make reservations by calling 407-732-1807.
