How to Troubleshoot Chrysler Sebring Headlights
- 1). Open the fuse panel cover under the steering column by pulling down on the cover with your hands.
- 2). Locate the fuse for the Sebring's headlights using the fuse diagram on the underside of the fuse panel cover.
- 3). Pull the fuse using the fuse pullers in the fuse box.
- 4). Check the fuse to make sure that the metal strip is not burned or broken. If it is, then replace the fuse with a new fuse of the same amperage.
- 5). Open the hood and look inside the headlight housing through the lens. Check to make sure that the headlight bulb is intact.
- 6). Check the wiring running to the headlight assembly for fraying or damage. If there is any damage, you'll need to have the wiring serviced by a professional mechanic.
- 7). Remove the bulb from your Sebring by unplugging the electrical connector that runs to the back of the bulb and turning the bulb counter-clockwise. Then pull it out of the housing. Check the filament for damage. If it is broken, replace the bulb with a new one.
