Desktop Icon

• 1). Turn on the Dell laptop and make sure the wireless switch is in the "On" position.
  
  
• 2). Right-click the utility icon in the notification area of your desktop. The icon appears as a set of four green, yellow, red or white bars, depending on the signal strength in your area.
  
  
• 3). Click "Enable Radio."
  
  
• 4). Right-click the icon and click "Open Utility" to open the Dell Wireless WLAN Card Utility.
  
  

Control Panel

• 1). Turn on the Dell laptop and make sure the wireless switch is in the "On" position.
  
  
• 2). Click "Start" and select "Dell Wireless WLAN Card Utility."
