How to Plan a Very Extravagant Children's Party
- 1). Decide on how much you are willing to spend. Understand that some of the most exciting and unusual features can also be very pricey, so be prepared. Know that some of the higher-end parties can start at a $1,000 and go on up to $100,000 or more, depending on the details.
- 2). Consider hosting a zoo in your backyard. There are companies that will bring child-friendly animals to your home and let children pet them. Some also offer pony rides. These are great ways to entertain young guests. You can also follow through on the animal theme in your decorations, cake, snack choices and party bag gifts. Just keep in mind that any petting zoo company you use must have proof of up-to-date liability insurance, just in case of accidents. They are also required to have USDA certification. Finally, most companies will request that you don't serve food while the animals are being handled. These are important details to make sure your party runs smoothly and safely.
- 3). Bring a live performance into your home. You can hire a local theater troupe to put on one of the well-known productions for your guests. Make popcorn and bags of candy for the young audience.
